SCROLL TO FACTOR
THE FIRST FACTOR
2 × 1721

Every system has two halves: the thing that happened, and the record that it happened.

Most of the world ships the first half and improvises the second. Then a part goes on an aircraft and the paperwork says two different things. Then money moves and three ledgers disagree. The cost of that gap is not a rounding error — it is most of the cost.

THE SECOND FACTOR
1721 ÷ 2 = 860 r1

1721 is prime. Thirteen attempts, thirteen remainders, nothing left to divide.

A record either holds or it does not. There is no partial custody, no mostly-reconciled, no approximately airworthy. We build the half nobody wants to build, and we make it impossible to rewrite.

÷2 = 860 r1÷19 = 90 r11÷3 = 573 r2÷23 = 74 r19÷5 = 344 r1÷29 = 59 r10÷7 = 245 r6÷31 = 55 r16÷11 = 156 r5÷37 = 46 r19÷13 = 132 r5÷41 = 41 r40÷17 = 101 r443² > 1721 · stop

Two of those are ours. The third was already the answer.

The factorization above is real and it holds. But this is where the name actually comes from — and no, we are not going to tell you which is which.

If you know, you know. If you don't, the arithmetic is still true.

WHAT THIS IS

We centralize the hard problems of industries that make physical things happen — moving atoms from point A to point B, and keeping the record that proves it.

Aircraft. Capital. Cargo. Custody. Increasingly, orbit — and everything past it. What those have in common is atoms: somewhere at the end of every one of these systems, a physical thing moves, or fails to. We are a factory in the older sense of the word — one shop, many industries, all of them hard, all of them consequential. We build in places where the record has never been trustworthy, and we staff what we build with machines that do not get tired of checking. We are not an agency and we do not take clients: we hold what we build, and we are judged by whether it survives an audit.

Every industry we work in points the same direction. Airworthiness took eighty years and a great deal of wreckage to turn into a vocabulary. There is no equivalent yet for a component that has to hold in vacuum, for a supply chain with a launch window, or for custody of an asset nobody can physically reach. And every one of those problems gets harder by an order of magnitude when the object is years away rather than minutes — when the round trip to ask a question exceeds the patience of everyone who needs the answer. A record that only works while someone can go and look at the thing is not a record. Somebody is going to write the ones that work at solar-system scale. We intend it to be us.

There is nothing else on this page. That is deliberate. The work is under obligation to counterparties who did not ask to be marketing material.

From foundation to answer.
